CHEF IN THE MAKING

I was always remarked by my wife that I do not know cooking and that I have a dark future in case she is out of station or sick etc .
Last week , suddenly decided to play this match of cooking .

I was some how remembering the recent movie called NOTA in which Sathyaraj says to the young chief Minister , “ Aparam ernigitta aatam adirvendi thaane “. ( then why don’t you enter and play the match )
So the cuisine was North Indian Subji Mutter Paneer .I had rough idea of how a subji is to be prepared . Asked my wife to stay away from kitchen .

I am a very passionate person by nature and have always done things where I am being challenged . Moreover my culture is to love doing challenging tasks ...

So the cooking started , with cutting of onions and tomatoes and me singing Kishore Kumar songs . I was enjoying every part of cooking process . There were some doubts which my wife happily clarified and the end result was outstanding Mutter Paneer subji ( gravy) . Added a bit of curd to the gravy ( special tip) , to get thickness and flavour .

Next was the presentation with Coriander spread all over ..

I served it first to my loving daughter and asked her how was it . She said , wait a minute , I need to eat more .. Finally she said “ Did you do this ? It’s awesome . How did you even do it Papa ? “
I told her besides the usual stuff of vegetables etc , your Papa added love , affection and did it with full happiness and so the outcome was good .

I have been cooking for last ten days now . Served South Indian meals to my In- laws and they loved it . They complimented  " You can in-fact think of starting a catering business !" 

I have also successfully obtained the certificate of merit from the highest and ultimate authority . Yes, none other than my beloved WIFE ..

Let me tell you ... "There’s a CHEF in the making .."
